I didn't grow up dreaming of becoming a teacher, but somehow this profession found me and it's been an amazing journey. I started substitute teaching in Merced in 1999. I was fortunate to secure a position teaching English in this district in 2001 and it has been awesome getting to know so many great kids . This job is a constant learning experience which makes it both challenging and exciting.
I graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in Speech Communications and a minor in languages. I then received my teaching credential from Chapman University.
I am married and I have three children. I have a 14 year old daughter, a 13 year old son and an 8 year old little boy. Being a mother, is by far the accomplishment of which I am most proud! In my spare time, I love to read, cook, travel, listen to music, socialize with family and friends, play with my pets and I absolutely love shopping!
