I didn't grow up dreaming of becoming a teacher,  but somehow this profession found me and it's been an amazing journey ever since.  This will be my 24th year with the Merced Union High School District and it's been an adventure. My career started in 2001 and it has been awesome getting to know so many great kids. This job is a constant learning experience which makes it both challenging and exciting.

I graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in Speech Communications and a minor in languages. I then received my teaching credential from Chapman University.

I am married and I have three children. I have a 21 year old daughter, a 20 year old son and a 16 year old son. Being a mother, is by far the accomplishment of which I am most proud! In my spare time, I love to read, cook, travel, listen to music, socialize with family and friends, play with my pets and I absolutely love shopping and the color pink!
